Simon Centuryis Managing Director, Housing at Legal & General.

Career

Simon joined Legal & General in 2016 with responsibility for leading direct investments into the long-term residential rental housing sector. In 2018 he founded Legal & General’s wholly-owned affordable housing business, Legal & General Affordable Homes, which is set to deliver over 3,000 affordable housing homes a year by 2023. In addition, he oversees L&G’s growing principal investment portfolio across the UK in the Build to Rent sector.

Simon’s career has spanned residential real estate, corporate finance and corporate strategy. He joined from the affordable housing provider, bpha where he was an executive committee member responsible for strategy and corporate finance. Prior to bpha, Simon worked at the advisory and investment firm, TradeRisks, advising clients in the infrastructure and quasi-government sectors.

Education

Simon is a full Member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers, holds the Certificate in Investment Management from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a BSc in Psychology from the University of Liverpool.
