Vanisha Thakrar

Vanisha Thakraris a real estate investment professional with over 10 years of experience spanning a number of different sectors and geographies across Europe. During this time, Vanisha has been actively involved in the student housing and residential sectors.

Career

Vanisha is currently a Vice President within Harrison Street’s London office where she is focused on underwriting and executing new deals across the alternative investment spectrum. In addition, she focusses on establishing and managing joint venture relationships with operators and developers.

Prior to joining Harrison Street, Vanisha was at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB). During her time at CPPIB, she was involved in establishing JVs, underwriting new investments and managing CPPIB’s existing investments. Prior to CPPIB, Vanisha worked at Macquarie Capital where she worked closely with a range of public and private sector clients across assignments including M&A transactions, equity raisings and principal investments in UK and Europe.

Education

Vanisha holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from The London School of Economics. In her personal life, Vanisha enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling and hiking.
